ECO Your way may lead you to Sant Joan de Labritja, where you can spot ECO/BAZAR/ACT on the old market place, a bit lower than the (only) main road dividing the village with a help of a lately added iron fencing: no protest could revoke the firm decision of its creator, the old ex major…… -
we arrange the rental of homes, hotel rooms, cars, and almost anything else under the sun for our tourist guests -
we facilitate many different types of long-term investments, including many facets of real-estate acquisition and management, commercial business properties, insurance matters, and general business consultation -
we recommend and schedule local excursions and other events -
we run our own New Age Bazar complete with natural foods & drinks, souvenirs and soul-relaxing music from around the world -
we coordinate AgriCulTourismo (ACT) -
we act as agents for representation and introduction for your business ventures across the island -
and we provide the little things that make the difference during your island stay. Over the last decade we've hired a clown for a child's birthday party, catered a traditional paella dinner on the beach during sunset, boat trips to Formentera, and a large-screen television for guests to watch the U.S. Open. Try us; you'll be surpised at what we can do - Officially called Eivissa Communication Organization was found in 1986 as a private owned service-company by Daniel Spiegel (*46). He originates from Germany from where he undertook frequent travels (since the late 60s) around the globe to find his love Ibiza/Spain in front of his doorstep in the summer of 69. He noticed the charm and unique situation of this island and after working with sailing vessels, the import of video beams and creation of the now famous Malibu beach hangout he finally found his challenge in the secluded, northern village of Sant Joan de Labritja, population 450 (still!).
- Nevertheless the district of Sant Joan is covering a third of the whole island! including Sant Lorenc de Balafia, Sant Miquel de Balanzat with Puerto Sant Miquel, Sant Vicent Ferrer with Cala Sant Vicent and Portinatx bringing the number of residents up to 4.500 in the town hall, reigned since years by the center-right PP (Partido Popular).
- ECO was meant to be the first office service company, next to two banks and the tiny post office, to function as a contact place for local and foreign residents and the tourists visiting every season.
- Located in the middle of the picturesc village, on Plaza de España, across from the medieval church, it has become a very vivid part of the entire region.
