In '89 a retail shop of about 100 m2, the "New Age Bazar" opened its doors and offers a variety of articles:
Here we want to give you a description what we offer and, if you have any interesting access to goods you can think that would sell well enough to display there: make a good offer to us to buy from you or leave it in commission to us to sell for you. Our commission rate is between 25% and 35% depending on the value and size of the goods.
Ambiental Music
About 500 different MCs and CDs are available with the emphasis on: Indian, Tibetan, Arab and African music, Chill-out and dance & rhythms and rituals, Ethnic and Trance, Instrumentals on Harp, Flutes, Jazz-Fusion, Flamenco (viva!) and Nouveau Flamenco, Osho-Music and Meditations, Tai Chi and Gregorian Chants, Celtic and many more, hard to classify, New Age Production from internatioanl distributors and, of course, productions out of our immense number of talented musicians from Ibiza have their place.
Music Instruments
We sell drums made on the island out of Cactus plants and fiberglass, American Indian Drums and Rattles, Indian and Tibetan Gongs, Cymbals, Bells and Horns and Flutes and a wide variety of wind chimes. There are even big drums made from French cognac-barrels! As an instrument "owner" you have the chance to participate in our frequent rhythm & music sessions on the nearby beach of Benirras, even if you are not an educated musician.
Ritual Accessories
More silent accessories for rituals are numerous vedic bronze and brass statues, knives, spoons, incense and their holders, oil and aroma lamps and essences of high purity and pictures of Indian gods and goddesses.
Incences and Essences
We stock a large variety of Incence from India and Nepal and are the wholesaler for the famous Sai Baba Nag Champa and the Auromere line from Auroville. In addition we stock 100% pure essences from about 40 different plants from the German brand of NEUMOND, famous for their purity and variety.
Water-Saving Devices
New Age Bazar is the islands representative for the German-Spanish company RST which dedicates exclusively in simple water saving devices. The range from micro-dot shower heads to stainless steel movable water outlets saves up to 40% of any households water consumption by mixing air into the water. Through this technique the volume of the water is greater than before, therefore the consumer is using less water than with the common water outlets. Specially in the summer months, when the rainwater tanks have to be filled with trucks of water, the investment of the RST devices pay back immediately.
Solar Energy and Rechargeable Batteries
With about 300 days of sunshine on Ibiza it becomes obvious to change from normal one-way batteries for small electrical and devices to rechargeable ones. New Age Bazar stocks many sizes and the best brands of those batteries. Next to the power driven chargers we sell solar powered chargers of many sizes for all types of batteries. Next to this stand we have installed a bucket for your used batteries to be collected.
Natural Cosmetics
We stock many colors for natural hair-dyes made out of the Henna plant in Marocco.
Tea-Tree products from Australia ranging from the pure oil, sun protector and skin moisture, ointment, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Other items are the famous ayurvedic Chandrika soap and Vicco and Auromere toothpastes originating from India.
Health Food
As more and more people become more conscious about their eating behavior and turn out to be vegetarians we have introduced a broad variety of Soya, Tofu and Seitan products from an international known producer in France. Dry fruit, Pita breads, spices from Asia, rice of many kinds, Muesli, yeast products and a variety of black, green, fruit and spiced teas (Celestial Seasonings) give our clients a bigger choice to change to the better, more nutrient and less contaminated alimentation.

Semiprecious Stones and Silver Jewelry
Our collection of minerals, semiprecious stones, crystals and silver jewelry is known already over the whole island. Often we take pieces in commission from travelers returning from Madagascar, Brazil or Burma. Once a year we exhibit all our stock during an exhibition which is combined with a seminar on healing stones and crystals, Our range of SWAROVSKY objects made of purified lead crystal reflects unlimited colours onto our shop’s walls.
Bedcovers, Carpets, Cushion Covers, Bags, etc.
Over the years we have collected a wide range of the above from India, Bali and Morocco. Some handwoven, some with natural colours, some rough woolen others from delicate yarns and fabrication, so called Sadhu Lunghis, Lunghis from Nagaland and Indonesia,….you will have to see it to believe it!
